About every other month there’s a new note-taking app or writing tool that the “experts” all consider the new thing that will change “everything.” But we didn’t have these tools at our disposal in decades gone by. Benjamin Franklin didn’t obsess over Roam Research, he had a notebook he kept around. If a notebook was good enough for Franklin, I’m sure we can be just as effective with one.

But there’s a side of writing that many writers have been sharing in recent months. The concept of taking notes, organizing them, and connecting them to each other. The base of this theory comes from Niklas Luhmann’s Zettelkasten.

In this webinar, we talk about the original Zettelkasten, what it is, how it works, why people are going digital with it, and how to get started with your own paper version.

Spoiler: I custom built my own boxes for this. 😉
